Mintice RDA IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Mintice in Suva: 19 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What mintice costs in Suva
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.1 per 10 ml.
Mintice in Suva reaches the shelf in RDA formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice RDA really costs in Suva
Mintice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.1 per 10 ml.
How we tested mintice in a RDA
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mintice in Suva survives.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Packaging for mintice in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
