Mintice pen device IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Mintice in Suva: 23 units tested over 9 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Mintice sounds like one product. It is not: a pen device running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run mintice the same way in Suva: same pen device, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice pen device really costs in Suva
Mintice in Suva reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested mintice in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mintice tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mintice in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should mintice start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.82 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$66 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
