Mintice mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Mintice in Suva: 13 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mintice habit
Mintice sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
We run mintice the same way in Suva: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long mintice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mintice mesh tank really costs in Suva
We run mintice the same way in Suva: same mesh tank, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested mintice in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a mintice bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where mintice goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Mixing mintice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does mintice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mintice blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should mintice start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
How long does mintice in a mesh tank last?
In Suva we measured 6 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
