Mint squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the guide shortlist
Mint in Suva: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a squonk mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
Mint squonk mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 7 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long mint tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mint squonk mod really costs in Suva
A mint squonk mod from the starter options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.67 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where mint goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised FJ$58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.67 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
