Mint refill pack IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Mint in Suva: 10 units tested over 3 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mint habit
Mint in a refill pack is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
Mint refill pack reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, refill pack, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a mint refill pack really costs in Suva
The honest read on mint: 10 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 10 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mint goes wrong
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Treating the advertised FJ$42 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.36 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for mint in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does mint in a refill pack last?
In Suva we measured 3 to 10 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Is mint legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
What nicotine strength should mint start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a refill pack.
