Mint RDA IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Mint in Suva: 11 units tested over 2 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run mint the same way in Suva: same RDA, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Mint sounds like one product. It is not: a RDA running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: mint in Suva works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint RDA really costs in Suva
A mint RDA from the flat-rate options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.24 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested mint in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where mint goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long mint in Suva survives.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mint tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
