Mint box mod IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Mint in Suva: 9 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Mint in a box mod is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
We run mint the same way in Suva: same box mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: mint in Suva works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a mint box mod really costs in Suva
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested mint in a box mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a mint bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where mint goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised FJ$61 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.96 per 10 ml.
- Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is mint legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.96 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$61 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does mint taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the mint blend itself harsh.
