Home / Mint 30 ml shortfill IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist

Choosing a 30 ml shortfill for mint

Mint prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.99 per 10 ml.

We run mint the same way in Suva: same 30 ml shortfill, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.

The short version: mint in Suva works if the 30 ml shortfill, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a mint 30 ml shortfill really costs in Suva

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

How we tested mint in a 30 ml shortfill

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
2. Pick the 30 ml shortfill that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
• Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Coil type inside the 30 ml shortfill, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• Spare parts availability for 30 ml shortfill in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.

Where mint goes wrong

• Treating the advertised FJ$47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.99 per 10 ml.
• Mixing mint with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
• Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
