Melon vape pen IQOS in Suva: the guide shortlist
Melon in Suva: 19 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Delivery, returns and what 6–12 business days really means
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
We run melon the same way in Suva: same vape pen, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the vape pen you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon vape pen really costs in Suva
Melon sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested melon in a vape pen
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Stock depth: 19 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where melon goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in Suva survives.
- Treating the advertised FJ$57 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.57 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the vape pen units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
How long does melon in a vape pen last?
In Suva we measured 8 to 19 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a vape pen.
