Melon starter kit IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Melon in Suva: 8 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good starter kit from a repack
We run melon the same way in Suva: same starter kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you are looking at melon in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon starter kit really costs in Suva
A melon starter kit from the flat-rate options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.79 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a starter kit
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Fiji.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where melon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
