Melon pen device IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Melon in Suva: 9 units tested over 5 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a pen device for melon
Melon prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.19 per 10 ml.
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long melon tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a melon pen device really costs in Suva
Melon pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 5 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested melon in a pen device
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every melon bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where melon goes wrong
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why melon tastes flat after two days.
- Treating the advertised FJ$56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.19 per 10 ml.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for melon in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.19 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$56 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a pen device.
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
