Melon mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the best shortlist
Melon in Suva: 9 units tested over 9 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the melon habit
Melon mesh tank reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on melon: 9 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 9 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a melon mesh tank really costs in Suva
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested melon in a mesh tank
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 9 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where melon goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Mixing melon with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised FJ$49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.95 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Why does melon taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the melon blend itself harsh.
Is melon legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
What nicotine strength should melon start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a mesh tank.
