Melon box mod IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Melon in Suva: 10 units tested over 6 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Melon box mod here
Melon box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you are looking at melon in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
The short version: melon in Suva works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a melon box mod really costs in Suva
The honest read on melon: 10 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested melon in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Batch code and production date, so a melon bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where melon goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised FJ$36 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.78 per 10 ml.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long melon in Suva survives.
