Mango pen device IQOS in Suva: the order shortlist
Mango in Suva: 20 units tested over 6 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the mango habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Mango prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.17 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long mango tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a mango pen device really costs in Suva
Mango pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 20 units and 6 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested mango in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every mango bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Batch code and production date, so a mango bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Stock depth: 20 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where mango goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why mango tastes flat after two days.
