Licorice starter kit IQOS in Suva: the guide shortlist
Licorice in Suva: 10 units tested over 9 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.27 per 10 ml.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
Below is the run we did for this search: 10 units, starter kit, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a licorice starter kit really costs in Suva
Licorice starter kit reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 10 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
How we tested licorice in a starter kit
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for starter kit in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a starter kit cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.27 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$49 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
What nicotine strength should licorice start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
