Licorice pen device IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Licorice in Suva: 6 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Stock, batch codes and the dispatch window
We run licorice the same way in Suva: same pen device, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Licorice prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.36 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long licorice tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a licorice pen device really costs in Suva
Licorice in Suva reaches the shelf in pen device formats, and the value ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested licorice in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a licorice bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long licorice in Suva survives.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$35 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.36 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Is licorice legal to sell in Fiji?
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
How long does licorice in a pen device last?
In Suva we measured 8 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
