Licorice pen device IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Licorice in Suva: 22 units tested over 3 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
The honest read on licorice: 22 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Licorice in a pen device is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: licorice in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a licorice pen device really costs in Suva
A licorice pen device from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.38 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested licorice in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every licorice bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where licorice goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Treating the advertised FJ$60 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.38 per 10 ml.
- Mixing licorice with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does licorice taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the licorice blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On licorice the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.38 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
