Iced refill pack IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Iced in Suva: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, refill pack formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.82 per 10 ml.
Iced sounds like one product. It is not: a refill pack running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
The short version: iced in Suva works if the refill pack, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced refill pack really costs in Suva
We run iced the same way in Suva: same refill pack, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested iced in a refill pack
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the refill pack that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Batch code and production date, so a iced bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the refill pack, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every iced bottle shipped into Fiji.
Where iced goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a refill pack that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Buying the cheapest refill pack available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
