Iced prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the online shortlist
Iced in Suva: 6 units tested over 2 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Iced prefilled pod here
We run iced the same way in Suva: same prefilled pod, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on iced: 6 units through the same routine over 2 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: iced in Suva works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a iced prefilled pod really costs in Suva
Iced prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.64 per 10 ml.
How we tested iced in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 6 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where iced goes wrong
- Mixing iced with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why iced tastes flat after two days.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On iced the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$1.64 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does iced taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the iced blend itself harsh.
How long does iced in a prefilled pod last?
In Suva we measured 2 to 6 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
