Guava pen device IQOS in Suva: the compare shortlist
Guava in Suva: 10 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Guava is allowed to say
Guava prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.63 per 10 ml.
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava pen device really costs in Suva
If you are looking at guava in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested guava in a pen device
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a guava bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where guava goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why guava tastes flat after two days.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
