Guava box mod IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Guava in Suva: 13 units tested over 3 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good box mod from a repack
A guava box mod from the reviewed options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.06 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
We run guava the same way in Suva: same box mod, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long guava tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a guava box mod really costs in Suva
If you are looking at guava in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the box mod you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested guava in a box mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where guava goes wrong
- Mixing guava with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Treating the advertised FJ$33 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.06 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Packaging for guava in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
