Graphite prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the order shortlist
Graphite in Suva: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
The honest read on graphite: 7 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.32 per 10 ml.
The short version: graphite in Suva works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a graphite prefilled pod really costs in Suva
Graphite prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.32 per 10 ml.
How we tested graphite in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every graphite bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Batch code and production date, so a graphite bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where graphite goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long graphite in Suva survives.
- Mixing graphite with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised FJ$38 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.32 per 10 ml.

Why does graphite taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the prefilled pod units we ran, a coil past 6 days turned the graphite blend itself harsh.
