Grapey prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Grapey in Suva: 9 units tested over 8 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the grapey habit
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
We run grapey the same way in Suva: same prefilled pod, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: grapey in Suva works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a grapey prefilled pod really costs in Suva
A grapey prefilled pod from the discounted options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.62 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested grapey in a prefilled pod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every grapey bottle shipped into Fiji.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where grapey goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why grapey tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
