Frozen cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Frozen in Suva: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Where buyers go wrong with frozen in Fiji
Frozen prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.99 per 10 ml.
The honest read on frozen: 18 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: frozen in Suva works if the cartomizer, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a frozen cartomizer really costs in Suva
If you are looking at frozen in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the cartomizer you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested frozen in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Stock depth: 18 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where frozen goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a cartomizer that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long frozen in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
Packaging for frozen in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
