Fig sub-ohm kit IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Fig in Suva: 17 units tested over 8 weeks, sub-ohm kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Where buyers go wrong with fig in Fiji
A fig sub-ohm kit from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$1.98 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Fig in a sub-ohm kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: fig in Suva works if the sub-ohm kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig sub-ohm kit really costs in Suva
Fig sounds like one product. It is not: a sub-ohm kit running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested fig in a sub-ohm kit
- Pick the sub-ohm kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every fig bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 17 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest sub-ohm kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.

Frequently asked questions
What nicotine strength should fig start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a sub-ohm kit.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the sub-ohm kit units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
