Fig squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Fig in Suva: 19 units tested over 6 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the fig habit
A fig squonk mod from the budget options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.46 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Fig in Suva reaches the shelf in squonk mod formats, and the budget ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
The short version: fig in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a fig squonk mod really costs in Suva
We run fig the same way in Suva: same squonk mod, same 6 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested fig in a squonk mod
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Coil type inside the squonk mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where fig goes wrong
- Mixing fig with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised FJ$39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.46 per 10 ml.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for fig in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a squonk mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.46 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$39 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Can I order IQOS online in Fiji?
Yes, tracked dispatch before 14:00, and delivery lands in 6–12 business days. Stock is batch-traced, so the bottle you receive carries a dated code.
Why does fig taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the fig blend itself harsh.
