Dessert vape pen IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Dessert in Suva: 14 units tested over 9 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good vape pen from a repack
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.58 per 10 ml.
Dessert in a vape pen is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: dessert in Suva works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert vape pen really costs in Suva
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a vape pen running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested dessert in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Fiji.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Stock depth: 14 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in Suva survives.
- Mixing dessert with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised FJ$68 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.58 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
