Dessert starter kit IQOS in Suva: the guide shortlist
Dessert in Suva: 15 units tested over 5 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a starter kit for dessert
We run dessert the same way in Suva: same starter kit, same 5 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.76 per 10 ml.
The short version: dessert in Suva works if the starter kit, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert starter kit really costs in Suva
Dessert in Suva reaches the shelf in starter kit formats, and the starter ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested dessert in a starter kit
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the starter kit that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 5 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest starter kit available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Ignoring the batch date on a starter kit and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Packaging for dessert in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
