If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert starter kit really costs in Suva
If you are looking at dessert in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the starter kit you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested dessert in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every dessert bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the starter kit, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.

Frequently asked questions
How long does dessert in a starter kit last?
In Suva we measured 3 to 24 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the starter kit units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
What nicotine strength should dessert start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a starter kit.
