Dessert RDA IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Dessert in Suva: 21 units tested over 3 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Dessert is allowed to say
We run dessert the same way in Suva: same RDA, same 3 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The honest read on dessert: 21 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
The short version: dessert in Suva works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert RDA really costs in Suva
The honest read on dessert: 21 units through the same routine over 3 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
How we tested dessert in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 21 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a dessert bottle turned in 3 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long dessert in Suva survives.
- Treating the advertised FJ$39 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.96 per 10 ml.
