Dessert prefilled pod IQOS in Suva: the guide shortlist
Dessert in Suva: 17 units tested over 7 weeks, prefilled pod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good prefilled pod from a repack
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.08 per 10 ml.
We run dessert the same way in Suva: same prefilled pod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: dessert in Suva works if the prefilled pod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a dessert prefilled pod really costs in Suva
We run dessert the same way in Suva: same prefilled pod, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested dessert in a prefilled pod
- Pick the prefilled pod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a prefilled pod arrives sealed but wrong.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Spare parts availability for prefilled pod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest prefilled pod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Treating the advertised FJ$47 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.08 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a prefilled pod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
