Dessert mesh tank IQOS in Suva: the online shortlist
Dessert in Suva: 8 units tested over 7 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the dessert habit
If you are looking at dessert in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the mesh tank you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a mesh tank running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
If you only read one line: the mesh tank you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert mesh tank really costs in Suva
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
How we tested dessert in a mesh tank
- Pick the mesh tank that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Coil type inside the mesh tank, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a mesh tank and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Treating the advertised FJ$37 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$1.9 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Packaging for dessert in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$1.9 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How much does a mesh tank cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$1.9 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$37 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
