Dessert box mod IQOS in Suva: the price shortlist
Dessert in Suva: 18 units tested over 4 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Dessert is allowed to say
A dessert box mod from the value options in Fiji costs about FJ$2.23 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
Dessert prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.23 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long dessert tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a dessert box mod really costs in Suva
Dessert sounds like one product. It is not: a box mod running varies will taste nothing like the same blend on a different device, which is why we test before we recommend.
How we tested dessert in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where dessert goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why dessert tastes flat after two days.
- Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Frequently asked questions
Why does dessert taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the dessert blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On dessert the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$2.23 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does dessert in a box mod last?
In Suva we measured 4 to 18 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
