Home / Cola box mod IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist

How to tell a good box mod from a repack

Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.

Cola box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 9 units and 3 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.

The short version: cola in Suva works if the box mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.

What a cola box mod really costs in Suva

Cola prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.74 per 10 ml.

How we tested cola in a box mod

1. Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
2. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
3. Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.

• Stock depth: 9 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.

Where cola goes wrong

• Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
• Chasing a discount on a box mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
• Mixing cola with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.

The rules that apply here

Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.

Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
