Cola box mod IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Cola in Suva: 8 units tested over 9 weeks, box mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the cola habit
Cola box mod reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 8 units and 9 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
The honest read on cola: 8 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
If you only read one line: the box mod you buy decides how long cola tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a cola box mod really costs in Suva
We run cola the same way in Suva: same box mod, same 9 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested cola in a box mod
- Pick the box mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every cola bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Coil type inside the box mod, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a box mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Spare parts availability for box mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where cola goes wrong
- Buying the cheapest box mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Ignoring the batch date on a box mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised FJ$55 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.67 per 10 ml.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for cola in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
Why does cola taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the box mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the cola blend itself harsh.
How long does cola in a box mod last?
In Suva we measured 9 to 8 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
How much does a box mod cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.67 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$55 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
