Coffee squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the online shortlist
Coffee in Suva: 21 units tested over 4 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good squonk mod from a repack
We run coffee the same way in Suva: same squonk mod, same 4 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.8 per 10 ml.
The short version: coffee in Suva works if the squonk mod, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee squonk mod really costs in Suva
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested coffee in a squonk mod
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Pick the squonk mod that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 4 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Buying the cheapest squonk mod available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for coffee in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
