Home / Coffee RDA IQOS in Suva: the wholesale shortlist

How to tell a good RDA from a repack

Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.12 per 10 ml.

Coffee in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.

If you only read one line: the RDA you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.

What a coffee RDA really costs in Suva

There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.

How we tested coffee in a RDA

1. Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
2. Pick the RDA that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
3. Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.

• Coil type inside the RDA, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
• The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
• Returns window and who pays return postage when a RDA arrives sealed but wrong.
• The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.

Where coffee goes wrong

• Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
• Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
• Ignoring the batch date on a RDA and discovering the listed price was for old stock.

The rules that apply here

Packaging for coffee in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.
