Coffee pen device IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Coffee in Suva: 16 units tested over 7 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Where buyers go wrong with coffee in Fiji
We run coffee the same way in Suva: same pen device, same 7 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
The short version: coffee in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a coffee pen device really costs in Suva
Coffee prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.64 per 10 ml.
How we tested coffee in a pen device
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coffee bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Buying the cheapest pen device available and repeating it because the first coil burnt.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
The rules that apply here
Packaging for coffee in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

How much does a pen device cost per 10 ml?
On the last run in Suva: about FJ$2.64 per 10 ml liquid plus FJ$53 for the entry kit, before any bulk discount.
Why does coffee taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the pen device units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the coffee blend itself harsh.
