Coffee cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the flat shortlist
Coffee in Suva: 14 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the coffee habit
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
Coffee in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long coffee tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coffee cartomizer really costs in Suva
We run coffee the same way in Suva: same cartomizer, same 2 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
How we tested coffee in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the cartomizer that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for cartomizer in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Coil type inside the cartomizer, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Batch code and production date, so a coffee bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where coffee goes wrong
- Mixing coffee with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coffee tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for coffee in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.
