Coconut cartomizer IQOS in Suva: the budget shortlist
Coconut in Suva: 16 units tested over 2 weeks, cartomizer formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Coconut is allowed to say
Coconut cartomizer reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 16 units and 2 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
Coconut prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$1.63 per 10 ml.
If you only read one line: the cartomizer you buy decides how long coconut tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a coconut cartomizer really costs in Suva
Coconut in a cartomizer is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested coconut in a cartomizer
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every coconut bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a cartomizer arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a coconut bottle turned in 2 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
Where coconut goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a cartomizer and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why coconut tastes flat after two days.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long coconut in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
