Citrus starter kit IQOS in Suva: the best shortlist
Citrus in Suva: 8 units tested over 8 weeks, starter kit formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Choosing a starter kit for citrus
We run citrus the same way in Suva: same starter kit, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
Citrus in a starter kit is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
If you only read one line: the starter kit you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus starter kit really costs in Suva
Most people searching IQOS in Fiji are not after a spec sheet. They want to know what it costs, how long it lasts and which shop will still service it in three months.
How we tested citrus in a starter kit
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every citrus bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a starter kit arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 8 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a starter kit that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Mixing citrus with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
