Citrus squonk mod IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Citrus in Suva: 13 units tested over 5 weeks, squonk mod formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How we tested Citrus squonk mod here
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
There is no single best way to buy IQOS in Fiji. There is only the batch that arrived, the coil that came with it, and whether the shop tracks the production run.
If you only read one line: the squonk mod you buy decides how long citrus tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a citrus squonk mod really costs in Suva
Citrus prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.71 per 10 ml.
How we tested citrus in a squonk mod
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Spare parts availability for squonk mod in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a squonk mod arrives sealed but wrong.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- The landed price per 10 ml after 6–12 business days, which is the only number worth comparing.
Where citrus goes wrong
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long citrus in Suva survives.
- Ignoring the batch date on a squonk mod and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Chasing a discount on a squonk mod that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Packaging for citrus in Fiji must be child-resistant, and the batch code has to be readable without cutting the shrink wrap.

Frequently asked questions
How long does citrus in a squonk mod last?
In Suva we measured 5 to 13 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
What nicotine strength should citrus start at?
Start at whatever Fiji allows on the label. If you already smoke, drop one step; if not, half of it for a squonk mod.
Why does citrus taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the squonk mod units we ran, a coil past 7 days turned the citrus blend itself harsh.
