Caramel in Suva: 14 units tested over 6 weeks, mesh tank formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Ordering IQOS to Suva: the practical version
Caramel prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.28 per 10 ml.
The honest read on caramel: 14 units through the same routine over 6 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Below is the run we did for this search: 14 units, mesh tank, same room temperature, same juice rotation. Where results varied, the variation is printed rather than averaged away.
What a caramel mesh tank really costs in Suva
Caramel in a mesh tank is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested caramel in a mesh tank
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a mesh tank arrives sealed but wrong.
- Child-resistant cap and tamper band on every caramel bottle shipped into Fiji.
- Batch code and production date, so a caramel bottle turned in 6 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Spare parts availability for mesh tank in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where caramel goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a mesh tank that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Mixing caramel with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
- Treating the advertised FJ$56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.28 per 10 ml.

Frequently asked questions
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On caramel the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.28 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
Why does caramel taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the mesh tank units we ran, a coil past 4 days turned the caramel blend itself harsh.
