Candy pen device IQOS in Suva: the cheap shortlist
Candy in Suva: 18 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the candy habit
The honest read on candy: 18 units through the same routine over 8 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Candy pen device reviews tend to be written after one tank. We run 18 units and 8 days per unit, because that is where the honest answer changes.
If you only read one line: the pen device you buy decides how long candy tastes right, and the coil inside it decides how long that is.
What a candy pen device really costs in Suva
A candy pen device from the cheapest options in Fiji costs about FJ$3.5 per 10 ml once delivery is counted. That number decides whether the habit survives the first month, not the sticker price.
How we tested candy in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Coil type inside the pen device, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Returns window and who pays return postage when a pen device arrives sealed but wrong.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where candy goes wrong
- Ignoring the batch date on a pen device and discovering the listed price was for old stock.
- Treating the advertised FJ$32 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.5 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
