Candy nicotine salt bottle IQOS in Suva: the deals shortlist
Candy in Suva: 7 units tested over 7 weeks, nicotine salt bottle formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
What the label on Candy is allowed to say
Candy prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.51 per 10 ml.
Candy in a nicotine salt bottle is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
The short version: candy in Suva works if the nicotine salt bottle, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a candy nicotine salt bottle really costs in Suva
If you are looking at candy in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the nicotine salt bottle you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested candy in a nicotine salt bottle
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Clear PG/VG ratio on the label, which predicts throat hit more accurately than strength.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Batch code and production date, so a candy bottle turned in 7 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
Where candy goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$58 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$2.51 per 10 ml.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Matching strength to the device instead of the draw, which is why candy tastes flat after two days.
The rules that apply here
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
