Blackcurrant vape pen IQOS in Suva: the review shortlist
Blackcurrant in Suva: 21 units tested over 8 weeks, vape pen formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the blackcurrant habit
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the vape pen you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
We run blackcurrant the same way in Suva: same vape pen, same 8 days, same coil resistance. The only variable was the coil, and that turned out to be the thing buyers get wrong.
The short version: blackcurrant in Suva works if the vape pen, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant vape pen really costs in Suva
Blackcurrant in Suva reaches the shelf in vape pen formats, and the reviewed ones are rarely the ones that stay in stock. Availability, not taste, is what breaks an order.
How we tested blackcurrant in a vape pen
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Pick the vape pen that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
- Coil type inside the vape pen, because mesh and wire age at different rates.
- Spare parts availability for vape pen in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$56 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.41 per 10 ml.
- Ordering in bulk without checking whether couriers in Fiji accept nicotine freight.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
