Blackcurrant pen device IQOS in Suva: the wholesale shortlist
Blackcurrant in Suva: 7 units tested over 8 weeks, pen device formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
How to tell a good pen device from a repack
Ordering into Suva usually means waiting 6–12 business days. Plan the reorder around that, not around the flavour you like best.
Blackcurrant prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$2.06 per 10 ml.
The short version: blackcurrant in Suva works if the pen device, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a blackcurrant pen device really costs in Suva
If you are looking at blackcurrant in Fiji, the first question is not strength. It is whether the pen device you are quoting actually fits the device on your desk.
How we tested blackcurrant in a pen device
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Pick the pen device that fits the device already on your desk, not the one on the headline page.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- Stock depth: 7 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- Spare parts availability for pen device in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
- Batch code and production date, so a blackcurrant bottle turned in 8 weeks ago is not sold as new.
Where blackcurrant goes wrong
- Chasing a discount on a pen device that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Assuming varies is uniform across brands, because two suppliers can label the same number differently.
- Mixing blackcurrant with a coil rated for a different wattage, which dulls the flavour and drains liquid faster.
The rules that apply here
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework. Shipping of nicotine to Fiji runs through tracked freight only, which is why the quoted window is stated per order.
Retail sales in Fiji sit under the same nicotine the label declares, which is the local legal limit. Anything above it is not sold through this channel.
