Apple RDA IQOS in Suva: the guide shortlist
Apple in Suva: 12 units tested over 9 weeks, RDA formats, priced per 10 ml for Fiji.
Coil life, liquid cost and the apple habit
The honest read on apple: 12 units through the same routine over 9 weeks, and the difference between a good batch and a bad one came down to batch age, not the sticker price.
Apple prices move with import duty more than with brand. In Suva that means the entry option and the premium option can close to within FJ$3.37 per 10 ml.
The short version: apple in Suva works if the RDA, the coil and the strength are chosen as one system. Everything below is what we measured while doing exactly that.
What a apple RDA really costs in Suva
Apple in a RDA is not the same product you see in a catalogue photo, and the price per 10 ml is where the gap shows. In Suva the liquid, the coil and the power setting all have to agree before the flavour actually lands.
How we tested apple in a RDA
- Order before 14:00 so the parcel leaves the same day and lands inside 6–12 business days.
- Settle the draw first: mouth-to-lung or direct-to-lung, because it decides the coil and the liquid.
- Choose strength against the ceiling in Fiji, which is the local legal limit for retail here.
- Stock depth: 12 lines held, so the shortlist does not turn into a special order.
- A dated dispatch promise: before 14:00 same day, tracked, so no order is held to a warehouse cut-off.
- The listed nicotine ceiling, which is the local legal limit in Fiji, not a suggestion.
- Spare parts availability for RDA in Fiji, since tanks and pods go first.
Where apple goes wrong
- Treating the advertised FJ$49 entry kit as the real cost when refills run FJ$3.37 per 10 ml.
- Chasing a discount on a RDA that then needs an adapter nobody in Fiji stocks.
- Skipping the spare coil, which is the single part that decides how long apple in Suva survives.
The rules that apply here
Wholesale lines to Fiji need import documents the retail shop does not; ask for them in writing before a bulk order.
Fiji restricts imports of nicotine products under its customs framework.

Frequently asked questions
Why does apple taste burnt?
Almost always the coil, not the liquid. On the RDA units we ran, a coil past 5 days turned the apple blend itself harsh.
Is buying in bulk actually cheaper?
Not automatically. On apple the budget price and the premium price can sit within FJ$3.37 per 10 ml once 6–12 business days is counted.
How long does apple in a RDA last?
In Suva we measured 9 to 12 days per unit depending on the coil. The bottle outlasts the coil, so the coil is what you replace.
